ORANGE IS THE NEW WHITE
The recent cars in India have shown a glaring inclination towards the colour orange. For instance, Hyundai i20 has the colour passion orange while the new Verna sedan has got flame orange colour. This new trend is going viral these days. All the Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) these days tend to have the colour orange in all its variations. Tata Nexon AMT made its entry in Etna Orange. Also, Ford and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza AMT have Mars Red (real orange) and Autumn Orange colour respectively. Grand i10 has a similar shade of colour. Fiat’s Aventura is of the same orange shade though it is not really a sports car in that sense. Besides, Maruti Suzuki has also popped up in its bright orange colour several times.
The fact is that the leading car producing companies are of the opinion that the new generation urges a desire of chromatic bright colours and orange is surely one among them. Baleno, Ignis and Alto K 10 are proof enough of Maruti’s increasing sale of orange shaded cars in recent years. Ford holds a similar agenda. Figo as well as Figo Aspire in sparkling gold has recently moved its way to red as the bright colour holds the promise of adventure and attraction. Tata Tiago when first arrived as Zica was eventually called Sunburst Orange, quite surprisingly (obviously because of its colour).
Renault has also used orange a lot. Renault Kwid, Duster and Captur has availed the all new shades of orange widely. Mahindra XUV 500 and KUV 100 have come up in bright orange. It, thus is funny how the colour orange is dominating political scenario as well as car shades in India recently! The rapid change of colour from white to orange for cars of all brands has definitely brought development and a flavour of changing generations.
